MAINTENANCE OFFICER 
JOB DESCRIPTION
 
As a maintenance worker, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure both buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role is physically demanding and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and general upkeep.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Carrying out general maintenance and repair work across the site. Basic plumbing knowledge is essential.
Ensuring all communal areas and facilities are well maintained and in good working order.
Performing routine checks and minor repairs on park equipment and infrastructure.
Responding to maintenance issues as they arise.
Assisting with ground keeping duties, including tidying communal areas and general site upkeep, such as mowing and strimming the lawns, mountain bike track & archery range.
Handling a variety of manual tasks, which may change daily depending on the centre’s needs.
 
 
Requirements:
 
Self-motivated person with a positive attitude to work
Prepared to work hard and are physically fit
Up for a challenge and have an interest in an outdoor centre environment 
Flexible with working hours.
Willingness to continually learn and improve knowledge on site
You are well organized
Ability to self-direct workload
You will be enthusiastic about work with a warm and engaging attitude
Efficient working knowledge

PAYE, Part Time casual contract

This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
 
Title - Maintenance Officer 
Reporting to - Maintenance Manager 
Grade - Hourly rate of pay £12.69 - 18 hours per week
Annual Leave - Pro rata - 33 days paid annual leave per year plus bank holidays 
Pension - Eligible employees will be automatically enrolled into 
NEST (National Employment Savings Trust) 
3 months after joining the Company
Notice Period - 1 Month
